Join this panel discussion with David Nicholson, Jay Jester, Catherine Graham, and Doug Kahl as they discuss what the promotional products industry look like in 2020. We currently see three areas that will disrupt promotional products businesses and the channel: demographics, globalization and technology. How are companies positioning themselves to be ahead of these potential disruptions?
David joined Leed's in 1993 as manager of overseas operations, including purchasing, logistics and product development. Served as Chief Operations Officer from 2000 through 2002 and in July of 2003 was named President of Leed's until promoted as President of Polyconcept North America (Leed's, Bullet, JournalBooks) in 2009. David received a B.A. in International Economics from Wesleyan University.
Jay is a Managing Director for Audax Private Equity. Previously, Jay was a General Partner with Florida Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm. At FCP he focused on developing new platform investments and assisting portfolio companies with add-on acquisitions. He also worked at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Company where he focused on middle market mergers and acquisitions. Jay received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Catherine Graham is the CEO of commonsku and the President of RIGHTSLEEVE. Commonsku is a cloud-based CRM, order management and supply chain collaboration platform for the promotional products industry. RIGHTSLEEVE is a promotional products agency and has been the recipient of numerous industry awards including ASI Distributor Entrepreneur of the Year, PPAI Web Award and Counselor's Best Places to Work. Catherine has previously been named as a PPB's Best Boss and ASI Rising Star.
Prior to RIGHTSLEEVE and commonsku, Catherine worked for TD Bank, eBay and A.T. Kearney and obtained an MBA. Outside of work, Catherine is a mother to 3 children ranging in age from 9 to 4 years old. She has a passion for learning and is an avid sports enthusiast playing ice hockey, squash and running.
Doug has been the Vice President of BrandVia since April 2003. Doug is also the Kahl Foundation Director that he established in 2012.
