Frank Vasquez is the director of corporate social responsibility for Hanesbrands Inc. He received his B.S. in systems design engineering from ITESM (Monterrey Technological Institute) In Monterrey, Mexico. He started his career with Hanes (Sara Lee at the time) 20 years ago as an engineer at the Dominican Republic operations. In 2003, he was moved to the corporate headquarters to lead the underwear operations in the safety and environmental areas. In 2006 when Hanes spun from Sara Lee, Frank was part of the team that started the corporate social responsibility initiative for the new company. As global director of CSR, Frank leads the company initiatives in ethics, compliance sustainability and community relations. Since 2010, he has led Hanes’ global community relations flagship program Green for Good with the implementation of life changing programs in the areas health, environmental sustainability and education in the communities where Hanes is located around the globe. In Winston Salem, where he resides, he is actively involved with the Hispanic League sitting on their education committee working with youngster to stay in school.
