Joshua White is BAMKO’s Head of Strategy. In this role, Joshua focuses on the long-term strategic initiatives that contribute to BAMKO’s top line revenue growth. These efforts include M&A, strategic partnerships, sales and marketing strategy and execution, talent acquisition, expansion into new business verticals and markets, oversight of PR efforts, development of brand strategy, and strategic sales communication.

Since joining the company in 2013, BAMKO has grown from around $20m in annual sales to over $300m, becoming the fastest growing Top 10 Distributor in the industry during that time. Joshua was named a PPB Magazine Rising Star and to the Counselor Magazine Hot List in 2018 and was the Los Angeles Business Journal's Rising Star General Counsel of the Year in 2016.

A passionate advocate for BAMKO’s unique culture, Joshua takes a particular interest in the preservation and continuous improvement of that culture, describing it as BAMKO’s “core competency.” 

Prior to joining BAMKO, Joshua worked as an attorney in private practice in Santa Monica, California. Licensed to practice law in California, Nevada, and Texas, Joshua earned his undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Southern California and his law degree from the UCLA School of Law.

Commonsku’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Joseph Sommer is the founder of Whitestone, a best in class, fully remote branded merchandise agency.  He has built his career with passion, enthusiasm and creativity and leads one of the most progressive businesses in the industry.  Whitestone was recently named to the Inc 5000 list for fastest growing private companies in America for the 6th straight year, and Inc Magazines Best Workplaces. In college, Joseph majored in entrepreneurship and built his business plans in the promotional products industry.  A seasoned vet at 34 years old, this is the only career and job he’s ever known, with Whitestone being the largest company he's ever worked for. Joseph lives in Austin, TX and is an active member of YPO and EO.

Nenette Gray (Moderator)

Nenette Gray is the Founder & Chief Lemonade Maker of Lemonade Creative Marketing, LLC, a branded promotional merchandise agency based in Baton Rouge, LA. Her company focuses on helping businesses excite, engage and inspire while maximizing their brand. Nenette spent nearly 20 years working with Fortune 500 companies in Marketing & Sales Leadership winning numerous professional & business awards. 

In 2010, Nenette was laid off from her pharmaceutical company. At that time, she decided to turn the lemons of losing her pharmaceutical job into lemonade. In September 2010, she founded Lemonade Creative Marketing, LLC where she brings her positive energy and zest for marketing to her clients. Some of their clients include: ExxonMobil, Blue Cross Blue Shield of LA, Amerihealth Caritas as well as LSU & Southern University.

Nenette & her company Lemonade Creative Marketing, LLC have received recognition for business excellence. Most recently, Lemonade was named 2023-24 WBE Supplier of the Year for WBENC’s WBEC SOUTH. Nenette was also nominated for the Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. 2024 Woman of the Year award which will be awarded in March. 

Outside of the office Nenette can be found traveling, experiencing new cuisine and exploring the great outdoors, hiking and kayaking. 

 

Sarah Whitaker (Moderator)

Sarah Whitaker is the owner of Williams Advertising, a full-service marketing agency that also specializes in creating branded merchandise. In addition to leading Williams Advertising, Sarah serves on the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Hopkinsville Small Business Commission. Sarah previously served as chair of Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Small Business Policy Council, president of the Pennyroyal Arts Council, was a member of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention & Visitors Board of Directors, president of Hopkinsville Junior Auxiliary and founding chair of Hopkinsville Young Professionals Engage. In 2019, Sarah was named a top promotional products professional under 40 by Print + Promo magazine. Sarah earned a Master in Business Administration degree and an undergraduate degree in marketing from Murray State University.  Sarah’s favorite roles are mom to 6 year old daughter Ellery and wife to husband Phillip.
